After traveling to Colorado from Ohio Seandra and Nathan were ready for an unforgettable day with friends and family. Their June wedding at the Pines at Genesee was full of moments both silly and sincere - and a ton of happy tears. At one point during the ceremony I looked around to find not one, not two, but five pairs of eyes brimming with tears.
When I met the bridal party at their rental property in Georgetown I knew this was going to be a great wedding. Creative details like the ring security briefcase for the ring bearer had me giggling behind the lens before I had even met most of the bridesmaids. Although we got shut down trying to take photos by the lake in Georgetown due to ridiculously gusty winds, we captured some hilarious moments at the bridal room at the Pines at Genesee. The groomsmen were really playful and I'm so grateful to my second shooter Sarah Fosco for capturing their antics. I could tell that she was having just as much fun as they were.
The bride's cascading bouquet was perfect for summer with tropical greenery and lush pink roses. The Pines at Genesee property was in full bloom and we witnessed a gorgeous sunset in the same hues the bride and groom chose for their linens - cotton candy pink and blue. Some of my favorite details were Seandra and Nathan's rings from Hannon Jewelers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (where they met!) and the bride's LSU garters. Congratulations to Seandra and Nathan. I know you have a long and happy marriage ahead!
