Sometimes, being a younger sibling comes in real handy! Two years ago I photographed Lindsey and Denys' winery wedding and really hit it off with not only Lindsey but her entire family. When her sister Leah got engaged, they already knew they loved the vendor team from 2020 and brought the majority of us back together for another family celebration.
There were so many special moments throughout this summer wedding. There was a light sprinkle of rain before the ceremony but it didn't prevent us from doing a first look for Leah and Joe so that they could enjoy additional time together on their wedding day - but also so that we could do the family and wedding party photos before their guests arrived. This meant that as soon as the ceremony ended, Leah and Joe joined cocktail hour with their signature drinks to mingle with their family and friends and snack on fancy appetizers. A second summer rainstorm pulled guests indoors just in time for dinner to begin, and by the end of the meal we noticed a spectacular double rainbow outside! Those moments, and many more, made Joe and Leah's June wedding at the Hudson Gardens a memorable event not only for them but for me as well. Now I'm just biding my time until younger brother (and officiant at both sisters' weddings) Mitchell finds the love of his life to see my favorite family again!!
