I moved to Boulder in the summer of 2013 and instantly fell in love. With the endless miles of trails, the restaurant scene downtown, and eventually, the friends and memories I made here.

As a photographer calling a place like Boulder 'home' is a dream.
And I
love sharing my favorite place with you. Whether you're local or planning a trip from out of state, let me be a resource for your engagement photos in Boulder. I'll help you decide:

+ where to find the views you want
+ whether or not to hike
+ sunrise versus sunset
+ what to wear

I'll even help you choose a spot for food after.
OH, and you'll get photos that make your family + friends say oh sh*%$

hey, hi, it me

SS031-Small.jpg

We have worked with Dylan on two separate events, both of which were unconventional. Our plans were all over the place and Dylan was patient and flexible, providing ideas and structure to make our visions became a reality.
Dylan is professional, warm, and reliable. She made us so comfortable in front of the camera, which is difficult to accomplish. Dylan goes the extra mile to make sure your photos are special, which for us included driving to scope out our sites in advance, 2 very early morning photo sessions, and photographing us in a literal blizzard. She is so talented.
I highly recommend booking with Dylan!! We will cherish our photos from her forever.

My now husband and I decided to have a destination elopement in Colorado. The absolute most important thing for an elopement (other than, you know, your spouse!) is having an amazing photographer. The photographs are so important when that’s the only way you’ll be sharing your joy with friends and family.

After looking through several photographer’s websites in the area, we decided on Dylan. Not only were her photographs stunning, but we talked over the phone and she totally fit our style. Dylan’s communication from that point on was terrific. She answered any questions we had and was proactive in letting us know how things were going on the planning side. We asked her for suggestions on location and she totally delivered. All that being said, I was completely at ease and calm on the big day knowing that Dylan had it all handled.

Dylan was laid-back and fun to work with and yet, at the same time professional and focused on getting the perfect pictures for us. I can’t tell you how much we loved having Dylan as our photographer. It was stress-free, easy, and amazingly fun! And I haven’t even begun to tell you about the photographs!

In a word, epic. Our photos were simply stunning. She captured us, our personality, and the love we share perfectly. Not to mention the way she was able to have us so intimately set in these breathtaking and huge backgrounds. We were blown away with the final photographs. Absolutely 100% satisfied.

Oh, and by the way...

If the two of you have already eloped and are looking for a photo session to celebrate (and have images to announce your elopement to family and friends) a post-elopement portrait session might be right for you.  Yes, that's a thing!

Elopements

I find elopements to be incredibly meaningful and I always enjoy capturing them. For me, an elopement is an intimate and non-traditional wedding with fewer than 25 guests. Whether it's just the two of you on a mountaintop, or you want to include your families and fur babies - I'm in.

My job is to help with planning beforehand so that on your wedding day I can step back and document the love. As we move around I'll gently guide you towards the best locations and lighting for photographs without being intrusive while I capture each and every memory.

I've spent years doing more than simply photographing weddings. I've re-pinned boutonnieres when they get crushed by hugs, offered tissues when mom's happy tears are threatening to make you cry, too, and even built a bouquet twenty minutes before the ceremony when the florist got lost! This means that from designing the timeline to demonstrating how to get the best champagne pop photos, I've got all the experience you need to create fantastic memories.

"Dylan was our absolute favorite vendor for our wedding (and we had a lot of great ones)! She took the time to get to know us beforehand and made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day. She was extremely prompt with her sneak peaks which was so fun to see pictures so soon after our wedding day. The full album of pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives. She is an extremely talented photographer and such a kind and pleasant person. Can't recommend Dylan enough!"
